Putridamkondar / Thiyagarajar Temple - Thiruvarur

Thiruvarur is Mooladhara Of  Saiva Samayam. This temple is around 3000 years old. God Siva here is Swayambu Lingam. God Thiyagaraja here is who was worshipped by God Vishnu and  Indra.

Kannayira Nathar Temple -Thirukkaravasal

This Siva temple is one of the Saptha vidanga Thalams. This is 12 kms from Thiruvarur on the way to Pudur. This temple is on the main high way from Thiruvarur to Thiruthuraipoondi.

Nelli Vana Nathar Temple, Thirunellikkaval

This Siva temple is around 300 metres away from Thirunellikkaaval Railway station and 700 metres from  Annan Swamigal Jeeva Samadhi Peetam. Siva Lingam is Swayambu here. Rays of sun falls on Moola Lingam for one week duration from masi 18th every year.

Thirukollikaadaar Temple- Thirukollikadu

God Shiva is Swayambu lingam here. Navagraha doshams will be rectified here, Saneeshwarar has got seperate sannathi here. This temple is of 2000 years old and one of the 'Padal Petra Sthalams', this is 5 km from Thirunellikkaval Railway station and 23 km from Thiruvarur

Kolilinathar Temple - Thirukuvalai

God shiva in this Temple is Swayambu Lingam, this Temple is more than 2000 years old and one of the 7 Saptha Vidanga Sthalam. 

When there is a food famine in Thirukkuvalai, Sundarar (one of 63 nayanmars) sang Thevaram on kolilinathar. Immediately paddy rain started and filled Thirukkuvalai. Then Sundarar(Nambi Aarooran) prayed God Shiva, immediately celestial men descended in the Temple to carry those huge paddy bowls to Thiruvarur and other places. Navagraha doshas are rectified if a devotee worship this shiva linga. This is 12 km from Thirunellikaval railway station and 9.5 km from 4 road junction of Thiruvarur to Thiruthuraipoondi High way.
